Straw poll -- how many think a forceful condemnation through the Security Council will have any effect on the junta? Who wonders if China will budge and join the world in scolding its southern charge?
Incidentally, lovely piece in the Democratic Voice of Burma about the junta commuting Suu Kyi's sentence out of sympathy. Did I hear someone make a snarky remark earlier about magnanimity?
